"LSU beats Florida Thanks to fake field goal in 4th quarter"
Yeah it's all gimmicks. If it weren't for that trick play....

It's literally how we won the game.

On College Football Sunday, one of the guys said LSU "escaped" Florida.
Also, tell me how Herbie can put out his new top 4 and have LSU as 4 and fricking Bama at 3?

You must have seen one show. ESPN has been showing all the replays ever since the game ended last nite. And to top it off, the most esteemed Paul Finebaum, one of ESPN's crown jewels of analysts, has LSU in his top 4 for the playoffs.

That won the game for us, Bozo.

It's a sad day when our fans can openly declare that they are annoyed with reality. That "gimmick" was, in fact, the go ahead score.

This one from Yahoo.com is much better:
Les Miles still has his tricks, but this LSU team has championship ingredients as well

Everyone get SO worked up by what people on TV say. Enjoy the ride....our team is unbeaten.

Would you prefer that we don't make it on that play? What's the outcome then?

For the life of me, I cannot fathom the media's eagerness to absolve Alabama of, what is now clearly, a very bad Ole Miss loss.
They were supposed to beat TAM, so why is everyone acting surprised? Meanwhile, they are drooling over how good Florida looked in an LSU loss, yet won't give LSU credit for a huge quality win?

On cfb Sunday all three put us as number two in their top four.

But that wouldn't allow them to be miserable.

Thank you!
They are doing to Bama what they used to do to USC. They make every team they play out to be some great, unbeatable team who has an amazing chance to get the upset. Then when Bama does beat them, like they should, the media is blown away that they got the win ice a "great" team.
Prime example was Georgia. When have they ever showed up in a big game? And yes, everyone knew they'd beat A&M but the media pumped them to be great as well so now they can drool over that win too.

He gets his fair share of criticism, but Joey Galloway was the only one I heard point this out last night. He used the same rationale when addressing Stanford; their loss to Northwestern isn't looking all that great either.

Not sure if you caught the game last night, but LSU beat 8th ranked Florida and is the only undefeated team in the conference.

I would say "trick play winds up being the game winner for LSU". Saying LSU wins on a trick play gives you the idea they had to pull it off to win the game, when in reality, a field goal would have won it.

Agreed. Truth is, without LSU playing like crap on ST for most of the game, Florida is not even in this game.
