Can't believe they are playing in the Cotton Bowl and at 11:00 AM.

Because some teams care about tradition. Same reason UGA/UF will never be played in the nicest stadium in the world when it opens in 2 years.

Cotton Bowl is nice now, neighborhood around it sucks, stare fair, tradition, that's what keeps it there.

The Cotton Bowl during the Fair is a great and unique atmosphere. I actually hate going to games at Jerry World. It doesn't have the atmosphere of a great college venue. It was the same thing for the NCAA tourney. It is just too big and busy.

I can't stand watching games played at Jerry World on TV.

Jerry would '"jerry-ize" the game, make it prime time and sponsor it to the hilt with papa johns. And it would end the uniqueness of the game... Namely the fair setting.

If Texas didn't suck it would be at 2:30. And I'm talking about multiple years of suckiness and routs that eroded national interest in this game.

Noooo. One of my favorite games to watch every year and a big reason is the location.

B/c jerry world is a soulless stadium that sucks the life out of the game atmosphere.

This is one of the games a college football fan needs to see at least once. The atmosphere, coupled with a game, is worthy of a trip.

To have it at Jerryworld would be horrible.

Yikes, dude. I've never been to the Texas State Fair but it sounds/looks like a freaking blast.

The women you see on tv alone are worth the trip.

why move when fans other than LSU fans can enjoy the delicacy known as a "corn dog".
