Their season is shot anyway and their program is shot until they get a coach who works more than 20 hours a week.

Spurrier's been semi-retired since 2011

As sad as that sounds, I have to agree.

How can you be so sure?

Looks like something else could be going on there this weekend

How long does it take to get in or out of Tiger Stadium without NASCAR going on in the same town?

I remember the angst and disappointment by LSU fans when we had to go to ASU. It is a crappy situation for them and I think their emotions are raw right now....I hope we show them the same treatment that we received from the ASU community in 2005.
That being said, I hope we crush them on the football field....
A lot of their posts and thoughts and feelings are probably reflecting frustration and anger.... Personally I'd give em a pass/mulligan right now for anything that they say that might sound harsh.

It sounds like USC would get more money by moving it to LSU than at a neutral site.

1) Would they give 100% of the gate to USCe
2) They apparently just seeded the field

I think ultimatley it came down to money. LSU guarantees ticket sales and USC will make money off of it. Move it to a neutral site the venue is going to want a guaranteed payout and without much time for ticket sales thats not in the best interest of USC and they'd likely lose money. LSU and USC are the only ones with a vested interest in playing this game so the negotiation was much easier to settle on.

I think the smarter choice would have been to cancel the game, period rather than play it down there.

Wow. Can't fix stupid.
