Thats insane. I make good money, but Im cheap as hell, so I think its crazy.

Are you local? If so, return it and go to the dillards outlet @ esplanade mall. 700.00 dresses for less than 100.00. If not, tell her to checkout consignment shops. Next time give her a budget?

You have no choice but to spend $700 on hookers and blow to even the score. Wear a rubber so you don't make any more Homecoming queens. Ah shite never mind raw dawg. Hooker's aren't queen material unless it has a dick too.

Ridiculous for a high schooler, and not even prom. Curious if you saw the actual receipt or if it was really even more than that.

$700 seems excessive for a dress that some a-hole will talk your daughter out of after a few beers.

She could have found a gorgeous dress for much less.

I hope she has a great date. The price is pretty steep. Too much for one dress for high school. If you can afford it, go for it.

That's insane. You should only allow them to get these one time dresses from Rent the Runway.

Rent the Runway Wiki

Rent the Runway site

What they spent on one dress could have gotten six of these events taken care of with better designers and quality.

Thank me later.

Your wife needs her head examined and you need to have a serious conversation about money and the real world with her.

Your daughter should also be ashamed of herself for pushing for a dress that expensive and/or accepting something that expensive.
