I think that was just Rich Paul trying to get him more money.

Can someone give a cliff notes for the offseason so far. I am pretty dumb when it comes to this stuff. So far we've signed AD and Asik to long term deals and also gotten this Alonzo Gee fellow. What's the intent for this offseason in general? Are any major moves anticipated at this point?

We basically let Jeff Withey walk and replaced him with Gee. Other than that, we've just resigned our guys.

Doubtful, we didn't have cap space to make anticipated moves. It's hard to anticipate trades, though. Anderson is probably the most likely person to move in a trade, but I get the feeling they are going to stay pat and see how we start the season.

- Brought everyone back so far except Cole, but him re-siging looks like only a matter of time.
- Added Gee who people have described anywhere from a SG/SF version of Cunningham to the next Bruce Bowen. I'm leaning towards the less glowing praise for a near minimum deal.
- Assuming Cole is back there are 3 roster spots left. Spots 13 and 14 are most likely going to Seth Curry and Withey.
- Gordon and Tyreke have both lost at least 10 pounds in anticipation of the faster pace.
- Summer League team is playing fast averaging 93 points per game compared to 82 points per game last year playing in Monty's system.

Monty didn't know how to use the players that Demps got him but Gentry does appears to be the general theme. The team is hoping health, pace and continuity lead to improved results.

Not any time soon. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gordon or Anderson traded for a SF at the deadline depending on how the season goes.

We let him become a UFA, that doesn't mean he won't be back.

Celtics waive Phil Pressey

Could be a really solid 5th guard

The Josh Smith-to-the-Clippers chatter is indeed true. They will be formally signing him shortly

And so the last FA of note is off the market.

Tristan Thompson and JR Smith are still out there, both probably staying with the Cavs, though.

After that, Cole may be the best remaining.

Jenkins I'd consider because he's still fairly young. Forgot to list him.

Miller is too old

Bynum....meh

Curry will PROBABLY get the job for the end of bench guard.

Rockets will give up almost no one in playoff rotation -- Papanikolaou, Prigioni, Dorsey, Johnson -- along with 1st (protected) for Lawson.

He's had 2 dui's in 6 months. He's done some other stupid shite too. And he's a bit overrated as a player.
