To my point, he established the precedent lets see if he at least has the stones to stick to it
It takes more "stones" to not stick to it IMO, because you're admitting you were previously wrong.

If he drops the hammer, the suspension will be appealed.

He's not required to.

But were totally gonna buttfrick you on the punishment if you don't do it.

It's like a way less serious version of a police needing "permission" to search a vehicle

"You have the right to decline this search, but if you do I will become suspicious and get the dogs out here and find a way to search your car anyway"

A federal judge just ruled that he cannot be used as an unbiased arbitrator in situations like that.

And that is why the appeals process goes thru someone else now.....

Right, but see AP and Greg Hardy. The NFLPA sued in federal court in one case and won and is threatening to sue in Federal Court in the other.

On issues outside the game of football. This is a football issue. I dont see Tom or the NFLPA wanting this anywhere close to court

Not sure what the hell is so funny about that. Being top 2-3 at the most important position in the game pretty much by default makes you one of the best players in the game. You'd have to be a dipshit to think otherwise

Pre-Saggy Ball Brady existed from 2000 to 2006 and was just an above average QB. Starting in 2007, gripping saggy balls really elevated his game.

Check the stats yourself.

I'd say give him a 12 game knowing he will appeal maybe down to 8 games.

4 games for cheating actions
4 games for refusing to help investigation

Misunderstood.

p.s. I'm not a Saints fan either.

But, assuming the accusations in both cases are accurate, doing something to gain a competitive advantage is worse than the bounty thing.

Do I think the balls had any effect on the results of games? Certainly not the one in question, but with others, I can't say since I am not an NFL player. But if it doesn't affect the ability of the player, why do it?

I am so angry that this story is getting a second run through the news cycle.

Pats vs Cowboys week 5 of 2015 season. Thus, Brady will get 4 game suspension.

Looks like a GOAT.
Pats trade him to the Chiefs where he is terrible.

Plus, he is apparently being punished for not giving over his personal phone to a private investigator moreso than the actual deflating of balls. Atleast from the "not cooperating" part of the story

That's a $50,000 fine based on precedent. That was the max the NFLPA agreed to when Brett Favre refused to turn over his phone with dick pics on it.
