According to the Miami Herald, Brady is facing up to a year suspension for his party in Deflategate.

The small tidbit of news I can offer is that the NFL is weighing a suspension of New England quarterback Tom Brady that could span up to one season. “Everything is being studied, everything is being considered,” an NFL source with knowledge of the disciplinary procedure told me Wednesday night.

The source declined to give a discipline floor, or the most lenient discipline Brady is facing.

Ya that is a headline made for clicks. He is getting 1-4 games, I think it should be two but it will probably be 1 but the worst be will get is 4.

The Miami Herald has been recognized quite a few times in the past decade or two for their work so I wouldn't put too much past them. But of course, there are always exceptions and firsts for everything..

This would be the biggest crock of shite if they did that.

The report basically said Tom Brady was probably aware of it. That's a lot of evidence they have there. Goodell already made a giant arse out of himself with Bountygate and all those players handing him his arse in court. I'm sure he doesn't want to go round 2 with Brady.

That would end up being hilarious if that happened. Brady would destroy the NFL in court.

Please make that happen... It would go even further in showing how big of a fricking joke Goodell is.

Bellycheat should get hit harder. Not only is there a clear "should have known" precedent from Bountygate, but Bellycheat is also a habitual offender.

Brady should get 1-2 games. Bellycheat should get at least a year.

I'll believe a year's suspension when I see it.

The idea of the commissioner coming down on a team so hard that it puts the franchise in a bind, such as suspending a star player or the head coach for a full season and taking draft pics, that sounds way too ridiculous to believe. It would be something that would absolutely destroy a franchise, and cause rage from fans. I can't imagine anything like this ever happening to a team.

So either Marsha gets hammered or Goofdell goes down in flames and loses his job??

Sounds like a win-win.

Back on point. Games for Brady and full season for Belicheck is what should be based on past precedence.

How can they not unless they admit the screwed up BG.

Actually if they are consistent Brady and belichick should both get a year. Brady would be akin to Gregg Williams in his involvement.
