People have to make a living, sure, but if I was unfortunate enough to live in that city, I'd do my best to avoid any job where I had to roam the streets regularly.

Don't go looking for drugs in the hood

Don't go looking for hookers in the hood

Don't go delivering pizzas in the hood.

Either it's all he could find or it was a second job. Either way, you don't do a job like that with 3 kids unless you have to. Providing, and this bullshite happens.

This can happen anywhere. A pizza driver was murdered in Birmingham a couple months ago.

Who kills a pizza man?

Seriously?
I wouldn't shoot a stray dog strolling by my house.
These animals shoot a man and kill him for delivering food to their neighbors.

That's third world country mentality.
Sickening.

I hope businesses start closing at night to protect their employees.

Seems like it would be pretty tough to get fired from a pizza delivery job.

Well that stray dog isn't carrying cash.

I read that all the pizza man had on him was $30

Sad. His poor family.

Statistics will tell you that the violent crimes committed daily throughout every inner city is mostly isolated to the black community. If the black community would rally around stopping crimes such as this instead of what we saw in Ferguson, every urban area in every large city would benefit.

This is a bad story, but I'm numb to seeing shite like this every time I turn on my television to watch the early morning news. There is not a day that goes by that there is not at least one overnight shooting or murder in the inner city of New Orleans. 99 times out of 100, this involves the black community. It also sickens me that Obama had the largest platform in the world to address the issue and turned his back on the issues at hand.

mikel drives for dominos??

I did in 95 for a few months before going back to Pizza Hut(Rotolos south of campus).

quote:

Domino's drivers undergo upwards of 16 hours of safety training before making deliveries on their own, Tedesco said, and the company advertises its policy of drivers not carrying more than $20.

This can't be stressed enough. And after a while So many drivers get complacent with their surroundings. I've been involved in 4 robberies related to pizza(one was Laundromat next door to the pizza parlor and I heard a scream and walked in on it). But never robbed on a delivery.
I'm a paranoid fricker who looks all around my complex when I walk out for work in the morning. Most recently, I pulled up to and drove off from a delivery, refusing delivery to a trailer at the back of a trailer park off Lynch Road in Pville. Told them come get it. They didn't. Then, A driver was robbed at the exact trailer the very next week. Was a ploy to get a driver to 'deliver' to a vacant trailer at the far back. shite like that. shite pays the bills as a second job but I won't do it again unless absolutely necessary.
