Dominos pizza delivery man murdered in New Orleans

That's gotta be the worst. Half murdered then just die of natural causes.

So sad. It's also really sad because it is on the news for one or two days and then gone.

Maybe they'd come back for the other half the next day?

Interesting because I read this.

Domino's officials said that no one in the surrounding area had ordered pizza, which the victim was delivering from the pizza chain's outlet on Franklin Avenue. New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Michael Harrison confirmed that Price was not in the area of his destination.

But, New Orleans is MUCH safer than it was 25 years ago. There isn't a murder a day. Back then the city averaged 1.5 murders a day.
Is it really much safer? Or is the medical care that much better? I wonder if the amount of people being shot is more, less, or the same as in the past. To me, that would be the real indicator of how safe New Orleans is now.

This can't be stressed enough. And after a while So many drivers get complacent with their surroundings. I've been involved in 4 robberies related to pizza(one was Laundromat next door to the pizza parlor and I heard a scream and walked in on it). But never robbed on a delivery.
I'm a paranoid fricker who looks all around my complex when I walk out for work in the morning. Most recently, I pulled up to and drove off from a delivery, refusing delivery to a trailer at the back of a trailer park off Lynch Road in Pville. Told them come get it. They didn't. Then, A driver was robbed at the exact trailer the very next week. Was a ploy to get a driver to 'deliver' to a vacant trailer at the far back. shite like that. shite pays the bills as a second job but I won't do it again unless absolutely necessary.
I delivered for Domino's back in the 80's, when delivery first started. We had a store policy of where to deliver. In other words, there were neighborhoods we did not enter. If we got a call from a suspicious address, we made the pizza, sent two people on the delivery, and wait outside the address in the car and honk. It usually is a delivery to an abondoned house.

tell me all about the Baton Rouge culture why dont you...in fact look at any mid sized city newpaper headlines and you'll see it everywhere...its not unique to NO, BTR, or anywhere
Was it like that before the good boys of New Orleans had to relocate to BR?

Definitely a drug deal gone bad

There isn't a murder a day
new Orleans, I love it, but it fricking blows. Too many "people of culture" and no one wants to live next to or with "people of culture" because they're so incredibly stupid, violent, and are a drain on everyone's resources.

Refute the statement.

Extermination of the thug filth is the only answer to this problem but our country will never have the will to do what must be done.

Sad. Media will ignore it especially CNN.

If only New Orleans could be like Houston. Thug Free

Interesting. Certainly sounds more like a drug deal gone wrong if true.
