Are you a hot chick with big tits? If not you're already at a severe disadvantage

I understand that men are at a pretty big disadvantage in the field...not sure whether that is valid or not, though...

I have an uncle who sells real estate around Fayetteville, Ar. Does pretty well and enjoys it. It's a second career, he's a retired superintendent of schools.

Depends on your location and your level of work ethic. Also, residential vs commercial makes a difference. You can make less than a teacher or be an OT Baller depending on these factors

He's fortunate he's around real estate that's growing in value by the minute. NW Arkansas is Hanzel Hot right now regarding job growth. It's also just a beautiful area

I've met people who do very well in it. I'm talking 250k+ (OT standard of course). It's not something that grabs a lot of respect and lot of people see the profession as unnecessary. If you don't care about feeling important then go for it if you think are good at sales.

You might want to consider becoming an appraiser. The demand for their services is great and they make good money. I deal in rural real estate and sometimes wonder if I should have followed a different career path when I see what appraisers are paid.

Very very very few make the big bucks. You probably won't be one of them

Thoughts on, sure. What about...thoughts...off?

It's not easy, and most people fail miserably, but they don't really try either. To succeed in real estate, you have to be willing to give it one, two or even three years of constant effort before it pays off.
But when it does pay off, it pays off big.
My father went full time in 1998 after retiring from coaching. Since then, his worst year was $98,000 after expenses. Typically he does better than a quarter million in commissions per year. My mother is about the same.
They work their asses off, but they are well compensated.
If you have a strong work ethic and self-discipline, you can make a fantastic living. If not, you'll burn out and probably lose your arse in the process.
ETA: Since it's the OT, I would be remiss if I left out the amount of hot MILF pussy that gets thrown your way at least once a week. So many lonely housewives...so little time.

When I was looking at houses, there was this smoking hot agent with big ol fake titties that was showing a house I went to look at. As soon as I walked in, I knew I didn't want the house, but got her digits anyway, and hit it pretty regularly for two months after that.
Funniest part was my aunt (agent) and cousin (agent) watching me spit game at the chick even though I told her the house sucked

Real estate isn't a "profession", it's a hobby for privileged stay at home moms. It's just something you can do so you can pretend like you're not unemployed.

I had a realtor recently tell me that they would be pretty much extinct by 2025 as a result of web/ social media based sales.

A friend of mine is a smart, hardworking hot chick with big tits. She tried to get into selling real estate last year and didn't really have any success at it. I think a lot of it had to do with her timing getting into the business and it seems to be the good old boy system here. Only the well established, well known agents do much here.

They're useless now IMO.
I've been house shopping, and the house I'm buying I had to find myself. The 3 realtors I had didn't do anything I couldn't do myself.
I guess they could be useful if you were buying a house far from where you lived, but for the most part all I see is them driving up the market price 30%
I'd rather you knock 20% off the price of the house and cut them out. I pay 20% less, you make 10% more. It's perfect.
