It’s never a good idea to claim to be a Navy SEAL when you are not, especially when you don’t know who you are talking to. A drunk man learns that lesson the hard way when he is confronted by three Army Rangers who take stealing valor very seriously.

I hate people that fake their service but I hate these videos even more.

And the only crime committed was by the Rangers. Solid

I saw this video posted on FB and wanted to beat them Rangers' asses.
This whole stolen valor shite has gotten out of hand. Dudes who do it are fricked in the head but I don't go around beating up racist people for using the N word. Stooping to their level to confront them or even beat them up is an absurdly immature reaction.
Those pussies were no better than a bunch of drunk Kappa Sigmas picking on a hippie on Chimes Street in 1993(dating myself. )

Yeah, I have no problem with someone being called out for trying to fake something like that, but in these videos, everybody usually looks bad.

It should be resolved like the TigerDave saga.
Thanks, TigerDave!

This video is even worse then normal. They even physically slap the guy here

There's nothing lamer than a "man" who can't hold his alcohol and testosterone.

Couldn't have said it better, Stout.
And so what they accomplished was not only making themselves look like giant douches, but also filmed them committing multiple crimes. Bunch of idiots.

That's not what I expect Army Rangers' voices to sound like.

This is a weak "stolen valor" claim. Drunk dude looking to intimidate strangers tells them he is a SEAL. Not exactly walking around with fake uniform and looking to get attention.
It'd be hilarious if the other guys were lying about being Rangers. Nothing in the video confirms their story either.

I hate people who are/were in the military and act like this, thinking it's a big deal. They are a disgrace to the uniform.
You don't have the right to go around around slapping people because you think they might be lying about being in the military (nobody really cares).
Hopefully the idiots who were on this video were arrested.

I'm glad those Army Rangers were there to set him straight.

Yeah, the jails aren't full enough of people like this.

I'm glad they called the guys bluff but an assault wasn't the right answer either. I'm still laughing that the "seal" said artillery though
Posted on 2/3/15 at 12:23 pm to SportsGuyNOLA
Yeah but whenever some of these guys put on class a's and other dress uniforms it's sad to see bc they are jacked up really bad. So to me it is a big deal since I was in the military, but I'm not gonna assault a guy either.

As a former Ranger, I do not support this video or the assault that took place. Lies in a bar are not stolen valor they are lies in a bar. As such I believe while distasteful, lies of this type are speech protected by the 1st Amendment. Someone claiming service to defraud or gain compensation is stolen valor.
