It is also a shame that no one pretends to be a joe blow E-2/E-3 or even an E-4 diesel mechanic, cook, fuel truck operator, quartermaster or clerk, basic infantry soldier, combat engineer, medic, carpenter, or even a radio
Operator which might still be como guys. How about a shout out to the truck drivers 88m that got supplies to the troops or I believe water purification guys if they still got them.

Now I respect the Rangers and what the red beret stood for, but come on man why does everyone who fakes being in the service have to be a sniper, special forces, navy seal, or super Mac daddy infantry guy.

Why can't someone say I was a kick butt clerk that got the guys paperwork processes so people could get paid on time?

I like the clerks they got my pay straight, supplies we needed, and even some jungle hats in Central America. One knew how to barter to always get us new TA-50 gear and newer weapons. He was a champ getting us stuff we needed.

To me that is a hero a clerk who got us stuff we needed.

My buddy's brother was a diesel mechanic and saved some lives and a couple of trucks by running through shootouts and rpg fire to get trucks running when they broke down in a convoy. When he tells people he was a diesel mechanic, they think it was boring as shite and DGAF what else he did
