They came across as drunk moron punks. Who the frick are they to be some sort of civilian police? I hope this makes it back to their superiors and they are conditioned to not do this again.

I can see screwing with the kid enough to call him out on his bs, but then stop there. Taking it further to the point of actually physically assaulting him for spouting drunken bullshite at a bar certainly makes them the much bigger douches here.

I guess I am not as bothered by the whole stolen valor deal as I am hearing how every numb nut whoever served is either a seal, a ranger or special forces. Those people make me madder than the ones who didn't serve and lie about it for some reason. None of it is worth getting your blood up though.

I was a wingman for a buddy one time on a bachelor party and just figured I go the airline pilot route....he nabbed it before me and I was like a deer in headlights. I decided to go with pre-school teacher.

You go to combat, do the missions those guys do, see your buddies killed, make huge sacrifices, yet some punk like that is trying to pull that crap, I don't blame them for being mad. Not at all.

I guess being the bigger man didn't cross their minds. Calling the guy out and makeing him look stupid is fine but just because they served in the military doesn't give them the right to go around assaulting people for lying.
