Last year, the harsh winter made crawfish burrow. Quantities were low and prices were high. The opposite is expected for this season.

bullshite, it will be a bad season due to low gas prices, just like it was a bad season last season cause gas prices were so high

Anybody been to that joint? All you can eat crawfish for the super bowl might be legit, if they do it right.

If you don't believe the crawfisheries won't have a great excuse to jack up the prices, then I don't know what to tell you.

Can't wait to hear the BS excuses this year. Won't be able to use the old stand-bys like too cold, too hot, fuel cost, etc. Gonna take some creative Coonass-ness this year to make their fortune!

Crawfish prices will be high during Lent and then drop after. It's supply and demand. If people are willing to pay $5per pound a farm damn sure is willing to sell them at that price.

And cheap fuel prices.

Farmers and airlines are finally able to get back to an even playing field with the low gas prices.
