Ron zook is not overly bright, non-cerebral/ like Miles. I don't think that would be a very good mix. All rah rah and no discipline and light on the X's and O's. No thanks.

It's the only theory that makes sense right now.

Maybe that's why everything is so silent. Whatever coach it is doesn't want his players/staff finding out until the season is over and they are keeping a really tight lid on it.

Zook would make it 3 ex-Gator HC's all coaching at the same time in the SEC.

Spurrier, Muschamp, and the Zookster!

Zook is a hell of a good coach. His personality would be exactly what LSU needs in terms of fire and emotion. He did a much better job at UF than he got credit for. Urban Meyer inherited a program that was loaded with talent. Urban capitalized on it when Tebow fell into his lap.

I like Zook, always did, just not as a HC, though his Ill teams not bad given Ill's standards.

A very 'quality' asst coach. Players at Fla and Ill seemed to like him.

I would think Zook would be a really good hire plus a heck of a recruiter and wouldn't surprise me with him or others especially with the timeline with some in NFL not being able to do anything till maybe end of Jan.
