Of course it goes without saying I know jack shite about coaching, but for 1M I'd hire a consultant. But I'd probably do it for 300K for just 1 year.
I would just blitz every single down, and play man in the secondary.
I would put a beast in as nose-guard and try to disrupt the center's snaps.
I would put some of WR's in rotation on Defense as DB (make 'em play both ways)
I would promise every recruit significant playing time, and guarantee them that they would play in the NFL.
But no matter what, if we have a lead against Alabama in the 4Q, I would not adjust to any type of way to cause us to lose to them.
