10%. I think Les is going to retire at LSU.
That retirement could be coming sooner than later .

I'll say only 80% chance he's offered since they have been burned twice in the past by him. 5% chance he accepts.

Interesting analysis. How did you come up with those numbers Gump?

25% he is offered.
100% he takes it if offered.
I think he would decide that rebuilding momma would make him a legend and to rub Carr's nose in it.

All these posts saying her retires at LSU. How many college coaches in the modern era, at competitive schools actually just retire? Can anyone name some? Coaches either get fired, leave to go somewhere else, or get pushed out typically
You have a good point. What I meant is I think this is his last coaching job. He may go on do something else, like ESPN or something.

I used a probability generator, a-hole. How about you?
For what it's worth, I think it is very likely he stays at LSU, and he should.

50% chance he is offered
50% chance he accepts
He is either offered or not, and he will accept or not.

Well played, well played.
There's always a bit of psychology in coaching moves.I think at this point in his life, legacy at LSU is more important to Les than rebuilding UM. I don't think Les is going anywhere. I think Les wants to be the "Bo Schembechler" of LSU.

Agree 100%. Age in particular drives a lot of decision-making. I would not want to move to start a new firm at my age even if it meant more money, because it was hard enough to get the existing business where it is.

I think Michigan would need to match those numbers for him and the assistants.
He wouldn't just be taking the entire coaching staff with him. He would definitely have to make changes. Not only do the assistants he has deserve the chance to decide if they want to live in Michigan and recruit in Michigan, but he should also consider hiring guys who could recruit that area for Michigan. I've never seen an entire coaching staff just pick up and change schools, and its highly likely here that Les would make many adjustments to his staff because Michigan is drastically different from LSU.

No chance. If UM wanted Miles and Miles wanted UM, he'd already be moving to Ann Arbor.
