this discussion will be somewhat difficult due to the geographical bias (southern-based message board = much more socially conservative than the mean, both male and female), but i feel it's still worthy to have.

It's a complicated situation. One of my biggest worries is that I'll have consensual sex with someone and she will turn around and scream rape. I've been falsely accused of sexual harassment before (thank GOD for security cameras) and it just really opened my eyes to the fact people can ruin other's lives so easily.

I feel bad for these guys at liberal arts colleges. It's a no win situation. Everyone's running around trying to find ways for women to be victimized.

That's the most pathetic thing I've read in a while. Why do people so desperately want ownership of the title of victim? It's everybody nowadays...black, white, straight, gay, women, men, the rich, the poor, the horny, the eunuch. Can we all just agree sometimes life sucks, and sometimes it sucks a little less?
This whining from all angles needs to stop, but nerds who can't get laid win todays round.

Meh, Breitbart interviews a couple of dysfunctional outliers and writes a shrill article making a trend out of it. My 13 year old nephew likes video games, but he also relates in normal, age-appropriate ways with girls in his peer group. Just like most of his friends do.
ETA: You know what blaming others for your own shortcomings makes you? A loser. There are women out there who will appreciate you for who you are. If I was able to find one, anyone who's reasonably normal can, believe me. Look within yourself and fix yourself. The rest will come.

I had a situation last year where I was accused of drugging a girl in a casino bar and "raping" her. Even though the girl had not even been touched sexually in any way.
Seriously, 2 friends of a girl I was talking to at the bar tried to have me arrested because they found her throwing up and wasted in the bathroom hours after I was talking to her. In her wasted state of mind she was claiming that someone molested her. Me of course.
Good thing I had plenty of friends who had my back, and the bartenders who refuted the story. The cop still made me leave the casino just to avoid further trouble.
That situation has definitely made me think twice about talking to and buying girls drinks at bars.
