I don't know. I am really don't think there are too many coaches in the country that could do much better overall. And none of them are coaches we could go get.
My criteria would be
1. Young
2. HC experience preferable
3. Good recruiter
4. solid southern ties so we have a go to OOC state
5. Moderate success at the school they are at.
I always say then, and then i realize I described Dabo Swinney. Then I hate myself.

Sammy tiger. None of us like Jameis Winston, but Jimbo fisher does not suck. He made the best in game adjustment I've ever seen with Matt mauck in the SECC game 2001! He has Won 2 NC and highly contributed to jamarcus,and Matt Flynn being awesome in college. Jimbo Fisher is a really awesome coach.

No, Frank will not be HC...anywhere. He is a good talker which does not mean a good HC. Hard for me to understand this thinking.

I think he can be a HC one day, but no one can really say how that'll work out. He's a good position coach and a beast of a recruiter. I wouldn't bet agains't him. However, for people thinking he should be promoted to HC, that's just fn ridiculous.

He actually makes a good point. OC and DC really have nothing in common with HC, but Frank's job is essentially to be a HC in training. I wouldn't want it to happen tomorrow, but Frank would be my first choice to replace Les if he retired, whether he's been to a smaller school first or not. The guy is a star in the making.

He has also lost to games to Wake Forest, North Carolina State, North Carolina and Virginia.
And not in years where any of them were particularly good.

To say that Jimbo sucks is reaching. Les Miles has one title that he backdoored into. If anyone has squandered talent, it is Miles and Richt.

To be fair Ed Orgeron went from DL coach at USCw to HC at Ole Miss. Now idk why in the hell ole miss did that to begin with but it did happen. Also, even though it is a dumpster fire organization Lane Kiffin was an offensive coordinator for a grand total of 1 year (actually co-coord w/ Sark) before being hired by Oakland.
