In 1994 another Arthur Andersen tax manager and I took a billionaire client's daughter to dinner in the Wine Cellar at Masa in San Francisco. She ordered 3 bottles of wine. The cheapest was $4,800. I had to excuse myself and go call the partner on the engagement. He told me to have a good time, and that her dad was going to end up paying for the meal.
The bill came to just under $18,500 for the 3 of us. Thank God for American Express.

I don't remember the most expensive entree, but I entertained customers at Spiaggia in Chicago many years ago and it was $3700 for 6 of us and a 5 hour event.

On my dime - French Laundry about $800 per person. Someone else picking up the tab - $2500 per person at L'Atelier de Robuchon in Vegas.

Filet at Cut in Vegas... $70 I think. We spent about $200 per including sides and wine. Great meal and worth every penny.

Not on my dime but most expensive meal I've participated in was my grandmothers 65th birthday at the Michelin starred dining room in the Ritz Carlton Atlanta. I believe it ended up being around 18-20 courses and wine pairings. Included a pre dessert, a desert course, a chocolate course and a post dessert palate cleanser. I was young and wish I remembered more about the specifics of the meal, but for the 8 of us it came out to over 10k. Absolutely incredible experience and was a very strong factor in paving the way for me getting into fine dining.
A meal we had in Iceland a few years ago was around 2500 American for five of us, great meal but way overpriced for what it was... Everything is insane expensive in Iceland though.

Keen's Steakhouse NYC $450 (drinks at bar, dinner, alcohol, and tip). Yes I did order multiple courses and indulged in lots of scotch. Worth every penny. Sat in the Bull Moose Room where Teddy Roosevelt and NYC elite hung out. Awesome.

Prime 112 on South Beach the night before the Super Bowl, final bill was $8,000 for 8 people on company credit card. We ordered the off menu seafood appetizer, it had lobsters, rock claws, oysters, tunas etc, well when we got the bill we realized the app alone was $2,000. Had an absolute blast

Got the market price surf and turf at some joint on Lake Tahoe on our honeymoon. Back then I was even dumber than I am now and thought it was bush league to ask how much it actually cost. I just ordered it. It was like $85. And not even remotely worth it. When I got the bill I liked to cardiaced.

Could have passed that along to Enron.
And to the OP, I have no clue but I'd say whatever it was it was probably not worth it or I would remember.
I'm a very big fan of tasting menus but I quit adding the wine pairings long ago. When I'm dining in that fashion I'm normally with people who know as much about wine as anyone and we just pick what we would prefer ourselves.

Sunda in Chicago last year after watching Saints beat Bears at Soldier Field. We were a big group and bother had a tasting for $150.00 per. We all imbibed, it was incredible and almost worth the cost.....
