Sam's or Costco.
Great size birds at a great price.

Calvin's has the small Broaster chickens that I like. They all have too much salt injected though.

Albertson's.. And they have ribs, turkey pot roast and baked chicken.

Not sure about the best, but Winn-Dixie is the worst.

I like Sam's, Kroger and/or Super One. Albertson's and Target's are pretty tasteless.
The hardest part about those is avoiding the skin- it's so TASTY!

Costco > Sam's, and unlike Sam's, availability has been reliable. I like the Costco pizza better, too.
Albertson's is fine when fresh (Rosemary Garlic is my favorite), but the one near me doesn't mark the times, so it's a bit of a crapshoot unless you can catch them in the act. I'll have to check next time I go; maybe the Walmart pressure has caused them to up their game, like they did with the plastic produce bags. Used to be, they had crappy bags that were hard to open, and the dispensers were few and far between. Just recently, they're using the good bags, and they've got two dispensers at the ends on each side of every aisle. Place is a fricking ghost town since Walmart opened, though.

HAHAHAHAHA! I'm like a Chupacabra and show up so randomly that people aren't sure if I exist.
How do you do one in the crockpot? I've put a chicken in there and it was a soupy mess (that made a delicious gumbo).
