That is nowhere near the top of the list. Hell, it isn't in the same universe.

I would put Johnson's Report on the Tonkin Incident above that.

...wouldn't you?

This is probably a true statement. However, a religion's vision of innocent may not be the same as yours. In their eyes, the people they kill are not innocent.

When Obama took the oath of office and swore to uphold the constitution of the United States. Easily the biggest lie ever.

Hell, Bush Sr's "Read my lips..." had more impact than that.

That's actually a true statement...do you think people who believe they are enabled by a god to kill have ever believed they were killing "innocents"?

You're right. He did lie about that.

Not close. Try this one:

Rumsfeld: " The bulk of the funds for Iraq's reconstruction will come from Iraqis -- from oil revenues, recovered assets, international trade, direct foreign investment, as well as some contributions we've already received and hope to receive from the international community."

Wolfowitz: "we're really dealing with a country that could finance its own reconstruction." LINK

What actually happened:

quote:

(Reuters) - The U.S. war in Iraq has cost $1.7 trillion with an additional $490 billion in benefits owed to war veterans, expenses that could grow to more than $6 trillion over the next four decades counting interest, a study released on Thursday said.
