It wasn't like the Saints got routed or lost in a big blowout, it just feels like it...the Falcons didn't "do" anything "to us" except give us an unusually close dogfight, and sometimes these games are dogfights....there were lots of lead exchanges and moments in that game where the Saints were on top, they just get obscured by the way in which we lost. It was a close, competitive game marred by a bad Saints defensive performance and a couple of ugly turnovers.

I'm STILL more traumatized by what Seattle did against us (x 2, especially the first), and what they did against Green Bay, against Denver, against the 49ers, against the Falcons....now THAT'S trauma. This is just a nagging headache.

Sorta off subject..

I've never seen Colston that animated on the sidelines. May have lit a fire under his arse for the year.

That's what I'm talking about. The game was a good wakeup call, and I'm glad it came to start the season. On top of that, the Falcons gave us their best, and they still only managed to eek out a win in overtime. The worst is over. The fun starts this Sunday.

No because that's the NFL and the road trend for the Saints is there for all to see. It's tough to win on the road in this league and you make mistakes, get FG's over TD's and don't tackle, odds are you will not be able to overcome that because from a talent standpoint every team is similar.

Spoken like a true ULM fan.

I hate Atlanta. I have an ex there that I despise. To know that her father got off at my expense, at the team I loves expense..it's side stories like that..not to mention what's most important, our divisional standing..that eats.

My ego has was attached to the saints when the only interesting thing to talk about were dome fires, backwards passes and helmet tosses.

How I hated Kurt warner for all the wrong reasons.

It's more than a game. Cause we make it more.

Let's tip our caps to our opponent for the win and move on.

I'm traumatized about losing those draft picks because of an unfair penalty from the NFL.

The Falcons are a better team than they get credit for here. I'm not worried.
