Sounds like overkill then on the added moodle material then...I've skimmed thru chapters but didn't do a thorough read. I plan on referencing PPT Notes/Q&A/PDF book. Feel a little better since you said 98% was from book...will be doing a lot of Ctrl+F

6 classes in now and running out of ideal options, looks like AP1 I am stuck with either MKT701 w/ James or MADM 701 with Williams.
Any insights here on which to tackle first? RMP.com has terrible things to say about both really, which is super encouraging.

rmp.com is correct. They are both a lot of work, just pick one and get it over with.

Anybody have any thoughts on MADM 715 with Wren?
I have 3 classes left, and two of them are the dreaded MADM701 and MKT701 classes.
I need one more elective, and MADM715 seems like a less bad choice than most of the others...

I enjoyed the class. It's not an easy class but not a lot of busy work. Mostly reading and studying for weekly tests. She did have us do a virtual presentation that took some time but nothing compared to those other 2 classes you have left.

Hi Brent, were you able to see your result? I couldn't. I just took the exam.

No. I assume it won't open up until the deadline tonight.
What did you think?

My advise, take MKT 701 and MADM 701 as soon as you can in the program to get them behind you. I was lucky that without any real planning or knowledge I took those 2 classes as my first 2 in the program. Things then go smoother the rest of the way.

Thanks so much! This is helpful since I have newborn twins at home. I am taking ISDS 705 right now. I chose the right class given my lack of sleep.

Congrats on your twins!
I am in MKT 701 and ACCT 701 at the moment. MKT is a lot of work with many moving pieces. ACCT is pretty straight forward. Read the chapters, do the exercise/decision questions and then an exam for 4 chapters at a time.

ISDS 705 exam 1 -- Definitely allow 20 minutes for the Proctor U process prior to starting the exam. You will log into Proctor U and the proctor will guide you through the process, which includes logging into Moodle where the proctor enters a code and the exam begins through the Moodle platform.
I agree with Brent that the textbook is the key resource. I've been concerned about this exam for the past two weeks and based on the reading material, couldn't figure out why this course had a reputation for having a light workload. I don't have much background in the subject and the quantity of reading material was intense. Despite that, the exam was manageable. No ambiguous or double barrel questions. Pretty straightforward. Good luck!

Luke14, I totally agree with your ranking of classes by workload. I'd put ECON 705 in between ACCT 701 and FIN 701.

thanks to you and Brent.
Taking it later on and I too have no background.

Just finished ISDS exam. Wasnt too bad. As everyone else indicated, you'll do fine with PDF. Some questions I don't even remember reading about and had to look up.
ProctorU was a pain. Kept saying Adobe Flash wasnt installed for some reason. My proctor was really helpful and resolved but it took me 20-30mins to get started.
Good luck to all

Just finished mine too...ProctorU experience was horrible. I've had Proctorio and Examity in the past and they are like a breath of fresh air to ProctorU so far. After almost an hour I was able to take my exam. They couldn't get the LMI to load, then I was transferred to a tech person, then transferred back to the same proctor Nathan, but yet this time his name was Michael and once I told him I'm back and can we start where we left off he made me feel like I was crazy and he was a new person..."I'm like dude, you are wearing the same thing, sound the same, you're the same person that just transferred me..." Not to mention that I had to call him out on being able to use resources for the exam...Glad it's over and hope I have a better proctor next time, someone I can clearly understand.
As for the exam, it was fair, not bad at all. I skimmed thru the material but the PDF book is all you really need. My background is IT so maybe that was a plus but most of the test comes from book, notes, and material he posted. I should have paired this test with something else.

Interesting. I guess that'll be my course for Spring AP2.

Just finished ISDS705. ProctorU went good for me, however it did take 20 minutes from appointment time until i actually started the test. Test was almost entirely from book. I did have 2 questions off of the extra reading material so i was glad i read it. All in all the PDF book is all you need. I had never used it so finding some of the true false and some of the MC took me a while to figure out the right key word to use in the search but now i have it down pat. Im thankful i read the chapters and put forth the effort. Finished with 35 minutes left. Good LUCK to all!!

On the ISDS 705 exam, do we need to log into proctor U at our exam time or 20 minutes before to get setup?
