I took McGee last Fall as one of my first classes paired with MKT. I enjoyed her class since it was pretty straight forward. She lined out what was needed and you just did the work. Of course that is when we has textbooks.
We had 2 chapters of reading, homework assignments that were practice problems from the reading, and one test per week that covered the reading. She utilized Protorio for the exams.

Thank you for sharing that. I am taking Wren's first exam in a couple of hours.

Dr. Vines FIN class was fine minus the MS word doc that was difficult, especially when he skipped steps to figure out how he came up with an answer for some of the calculations. Vines is great with answering questions in Zoom sessions and helping break down the calculations. I finished the class with a B and was grateful for that after having to work through his jargon and notes. It was helpful when he added links to other websites for info.

I am taking MADM 715 and Econ 705 together. Both seem manageable. A weekly tweet for MADM 715 with Wren has been interesting.

I agree 100% with you regarding finance with Vines. 8-12 pages of a word doc is the reading material and since he has years of experience, they come out as a rambling expert on the subject with the expectation that the readers know the majority of the concepts and formulas he is talking about.

Hello everyone,
I just started my Fin with Vines. There is no textbook, just his typed out comments on 12 pages. Some links to youtube also. Anyone have suggestions on how to survive his class?
Having your whole grade depend on just 4 exams that are 10 questions/5 points each is a bit unnerving to me lol.

Congrats on your twins!
I am in MKT 701 and ACCT 701 at the moment. MKT is a lot of work with many moving pieces. ACCT is pretty straight forward. Read the chapters, do the exercise/decision questions and then an exam for 4 chapters at a time.

Thank you for your response. When you turn it into Turnitin, do you include your references at the bottom of the paper? I submitted it and did not include the reference just for the turnit in part.

Thank you for your answer! I see that she is using the BOSS system with Protorio as a testing group. The application forum is where we two options to choose from and come up with an original idea to use the product for. We then turn it in to Turnitin (sp?). After that, we are to post it in the forum I am guessing. I was wondering how long those answers usually are.

Hello, would you mind give me some tips for MKT 701? Did you have James? Did you read all the text for the chapters and also all of the supplemental reading? For the application assignments, how long was typical report as far as pages? I would truly appreciate any tips you may have!

I am also new to the MBA program. I am pursuing a MBA with a HR concentration. I start AP 2 and am taking Marketing with James and Accounting with McGee. What classes are you taking? Any insight on these professors or classes would be greatly appreciated.
