Anyone schedule their ISDS 705 test yet?
I'm in for early Monday morning before I go to work. I'm hoping it's as it was previous session because this is a a lot of pretty broad material. Was a real struggle reading those chapters.
I'm scheduled for monday. The first two chapter were tough and I still have two to go.
I've changed things up and focused in the questions/answer teacher provided.

FIN730 - Any one done reading the 6 chapters, looks extensive going through the book.. However, I like the reading on the other material(s) posted by the professor for respective chapters.
was wondering if the test questions are from the problem sets or from the book, any idea ?

FIN 730- I have read all 6 chapters, but after going through the slides he provided, It seems like he really highlighted all the main points. Will be interested to see after test 1 if reading the book matters or if just reviewing the slides Is enough.
I never looked at the problem sets from the book but just the practice he provided on moodle. Hopefully it’s similar to the word document MC short answer.
Best of luck

I'm scheduled too for Monday night. I'm traveling for work next week and hopefully, the hotel connection will be stable for ProctorU! This is my first time taking a ProctorU exam, any advice is appreciated on either the process or the ISDS 705 exam.

When taking exams on Proctor U do you get the grades immediately?

FIN730 - wondering if anyone took the 1st exam and would like to give any quick feedback on how it went and the structure.

I am thinking about getting mine. My employer will be paying for it fortunately. I'm in between project management and international business specialization. Anybody in these programs have any comments on them?

Ace,
Fortunately you don't have to declare a specialization/concentration for a few months. All of the MBA programs share 7-8 of the same classes. You can take those while you decide.

Got an 85 on the exam.20 Questions all MC, very similar to the practice exams he provided. Reading the chapter slides should be sufficient to do well on the test, without reading the book.

Advise for classes to pair for Spring Classes.
The Following Classes I still have to complete and plan on taking 2 a semester. What is easiest/hardest and which is lots of busy work vs more laid back?
FIN 710
ACCT 701
MKT 701
ISDS 705
MADM 760
MADM 701

I'd love to hear other's input in this as well.
My only tidbit is that ISDS 705 is considered an easier class and one that can be paired with a more difficult one.

Took the ISDS 705 exam earlier this morning. I won't use the word "easy" but 98% of the answers were attainable in the text.
ProctorU was a cluster as expected. My scheduled time was 4:30am. Was 4:45 before I was connected to a proctor (she was great btw, but the process not so much) and 5:12 before I was navigated to Moodule to begin the exam. Exam took me right at an hour so late for work. I'll adjust my session for next exam accordingly.
Good luck everyone!

@brentb71, you said not "easy", but 98% attainable in the text...would that be the Notes/PPT slides or actual textbook. Questions easy/straightforward or analytical? Also, did you read the chapters or just the material Lin gave out.

Good to know.. I scheduled mine tonight for 8:50pm... My son has a baseball game until 7pm. Maybe I should've scheduled to take the test earlier
Posted on 11/6/17 at 7:22 am to joeskee2000
joeskee, for preparation, I read the chapters, moodle material, and watched the videos & PPTs. Did not take any notes. For the exam all I referenced was the text.
You are not given a score after the exam but I only flagged 1 question that I wasn't absolutely sure about.
