I bought my wife a new explorer in November. We both love it, it has a third row seat if needed for passengers, it has nice interior features and gets 24 mpg

Grand Cherokee for sure. Buddy just bought a 13' Overland it's honestly one of the nicest SUVs I've ever sat in.

In no particular order:

Explorer
4 Runner
Yukon
Tahoe
Grand Cherokee
Touareg
Q7
Landcruiser
Lexus GX

Look at/drive all of those and decide. You can get all used with under 50k miles for less than $35k

I just picked up a 2015 Mazda CX-5 grand touring with the tech package last week. 32K out the door in CA. Pretty sick ride.

LINK

I bought a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium last year and it turned out to be a lemon. Ford bought that thing back from me and went with the Mazda

The Overland is like 50k+ though

The Grand Cherokees are pretty slick, not gonna lie.

This

I'm at 8,000 miles on my new Grand Cherokee and would buy it all over again. So far I'm at over 27 mpg.

I don't know if you can classify the new Rav4 as a SUV, but I got the wife a limited 6 months ago and it's got everything you can think of in it for around 32K.

I would like to point out there is a difference between a Cherokee and a Grand Cherokee … for those that might use them interchangeably

I want an Acura RDX but got too good of a deal on a used Tahoe so went with that. The Tahoe is nice but the opposite of fun to drive.

Mine has the same except hers is a grand Cherokee and I fricking loathe it. Went from an infiniti g35 to this and there is no more room in the GC than the Infiniti
