Look on cars.com and autotrader and you will be able to see them
A 200-series Land Cruiser for less than $35k? Would have to have eleventy billion miles on the clock.

Last two vehicles were an LTZ Tahoe and a GMC Acadia Denali.
Haven't had a single issue with either. Sold the Tahoe at 150k and have 20k so far on the Acadia.
Acadia actually has more room considering the roll-flat third row but lacks the torque when towing. Getting a solid 24mpg on the freeway however which is a huge improvement from the Tahoe.
Only downside with the Denali has been the low profile wheel/tire package means you feel the road more and isnt worth a damn in snow/ice/offroad compared to the Tahoe which with the right tires was a damn smooth ride and could still get around offroad when needed.

If you want something reliable get a Toyota or Honda. If you don't, get a Ford, Chevy or Dodge.

Just throwing this out there... May want to look at the Suburu Forrester. Motor trend SUV of the year, very well built and reliable, all wheel drive, very roomy interior and you could get it loaded out with every possible option for under $35k
Outback, too. A little more expensive for similar trim levels, but supposedly a nicer ride (I've never ridden in a new Forester to compare).
Subaru makes very very good vehicles.

I enjoy my Xterra.
This. It's not for everyone, though.
