Why is WWL Radio so crappy?

Good grief, when did the on air talent get so bad? I'll put it on in the office to have some background noise, but it's to the point where it's one big broken record.
Garland - Is limited to 3 topics: Legalizing dope, Jindal Bashing with CB Forgottson, and too many people being jailed.
Angela - 2 topics: Too many people in jail, animals
Scoot/Tommy Tucker - Both of these are just beyond terrible
Sportstalk - The only regular contributor that's decent is Mike Detillier.......the rest are pretty much babbling idiots. Listening after football season is like nails on a chalkboard.

Not willing to take any risks.
Garland and Angela are NO broadcasting icons, even if past their expiration dates.
Scoot and Tommy Tucker are known commodities, as are Bobby, Hokey, and Deke.
They want vanilla content that won't turn off their core demo: Older, Middle of the Road, Yats. They know the medium is dying and they are trying to hang on as long as they can

Angela is the worst thing on radio. Sad thing is she thinks she is the greatest thing to bless the airwaves. I would rather wipe my arse with my fingers and eat popcorn than listen to her. I get bored with satellite radio sometimes and will switch over to local for a bit, not in new Orleans and not to wwl

Tommy Tucker is objectively terrible. When I was in high school WWL used to actually have news reports in the morning. Now it's 100% "Paretti Jaguar Opinion Polls" and Tucker begging idiots to text him random opinions on random subjects.
Their best on-air talent is, inexplicably, Dan fricking Gill. It's the most entertaining show they have and he talks about weeds for three hours for Christ's sake.
