Caught 1 red in Chauvin area. If anyone can give some Chauvin tips, it would be much appreciated. We spend half our time trying to not get stuck.

Was it windy out there? If it was that low, I'd head out and fish some reefs at bayou to bay openings.

The day we went (last Sat) literally every guide boat was in their respective slots. Not one out on the water. Should have taken a hint.

Where did y'all fish?

Is the 30% chance of rain starting at 9 am making anyone else second guess a fishing trip tomorrow? I keep going back and forth.

Water is muddy except where the marsh is draining and that didn't last long where I was. Tide pumped up all day turned the ponds to cafe au lait.
