Went bass fishing in larose/ cutoff. Ended up with 1 bass 16 trout and 5 reds. Water was coming up which didn't help.

you did better than most from what ive heard at the launch. next trip w be guided out of dularge for our anniversary.... hopefully get sum fish in the freezer w that trip

We worked for them, waiting on the specks to move to last Island now. Should be there in a month or so.

Was spreading limestone and running a new powerline at my camp this weekend. Every boat that passed gave me the itch, looks like I spent my time wisely though. trying to knock out all my work around the camp before they really start biting!

Had a decent day yesterday. 2 bass, 4 sacalait (1 was a 2.5 lb) and a 6 lb channel cat

I caught 12 bass at Toledo 7 keepers. My buddy caught 7 total and 3 keepers. Hard day for most Saturday I heard at the launch. Had 4 over 3 pounds.
Had my buddy not wasted part the day trying to catch white perch we would have done better.
Caught on watermelon flukes and green pumpkin speed craws...

Went in the marsh north of Lake Boudreaux after work Friday. It was like fishing in chocolate milk. Saturday we went in Cocodrie. Water was much better. Probably saw 30 reds before 10am, but they wouldn't bite. Ended up catching 7 for the day.

Had a good weekend on Grand Bayou. Best 5 this morning went about 25 lbs. including this 9 1/2. Best weekend of the year by far.

We did the red snapper thing out of Venice.
