Anyone? If so, name your top 5 fav songs by them

The Doors? Jim Morrison? He's a drunken buffoon posing as a poet. Give me The Guess Who. They got the courage to be drunken buffoons, which makes them poetic.

Love Her Madly
I've always been a big fan of The Doors. I was surprised when I started getting on various music forms and saw that they were a pretty polarizing band. I guess Morrison rubs some people the wrong way. I don't know how anyone could hate on the actual music though.

I was a big fan at 15 or so. I still like them, and listen to them, just not as much anymore.
In no order:
Roadhouse Blues
Peace Frog
The End(especially the live one "don't wanna die in an automobile, I wanna lay in an open field...)
LA Woman
The Soft Parade
Not a hard 5, just some of my favorites.

The Doors is certainly a contender for best debut album ever, along with its fellow 1967 psychedelic rocker Are You Experienced

He would try to piss off the audience sometimes and cause riots. I always admired that about him.
My top 5
Peace Frog
LA Woman
Touch Me
Love Me Two Times
Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar) live version

Casual fan.
Cool story bro: My first year in NYC, I went to see a Doors cover band play downtown (don't know why, but a friend wanted to see them). Got thrown out of the bar for being too drunk and possibly smoking a cigarette that may have contained an illegal substance. Place was so crowded, I was able to sneak back in about 5 minutes later.
