I could see shooting the first two but would definitely have let the smaller 8 pt walk if i had killed two nice bucks already that season. I would have let it run to another member in the club. I am not fan of dog hunting either. Wouldn't bother me if it was banned.

Well I kind of wanted to post something similar earlier but didn't want to start a shite storm. Not because he killed the three deer because those deer may very well be trophies in that area. I guess it s just a gut feeling I had while reading the article and looking at the pictures.

Why is it so hard to fathom that some clubs are filled with members that actually like killing deer?
I'm in a dog hunting club in north La where everyone is happy no matter who actually kills the deer. The guys are just happy to hear a good race, get the blood pumping, and hear some shotgun blasts.
Then when it's all over we sit around and laugh and drink a beer and talk about the ones that got away. No jealous pretentious assholes to worry about, just good folks from age 9-93 having fun and hunting deer. What a novel idea.
