Fan voting is so dumb. The East doesn't even have a big man in their lineup

East is so weak. The only center who is worthy is Hibbert.

It's front court players - there doesn't need to be a traditional big man.

Other than Kobe I don't have any major issues with the starters. I think Wall deserves to start over Kyrie, Harden over Kobe and Aldrige over Griffin.

Kobe being named a starter is just another reason why all star appearances should not be brought up when discussing a players resume. All-NBA is a million times better.

When did this happen? I'm fairly certain that it didn't happen this season. I saw someone say that he had 8 in a row the other day, and that's also incorrect. He recently had 8 straight 20 point games, but in that stretch he had two games with 7 rebs each.

I remember a time when "all-star appearances" was a legitimate claim for fame. Thanks to the modern era, DAVID frickING STERN, its no longer relevant.

Must be talking Kevin Love or something

eta. When are reserves announced? I don't feel like sifting through bleacher report right now.

I mean if CP indeed returns for all star weekend, then maybe. But I'm not starting someone coming off an injury over Curry. (Granted CP is far and away the top PG in NBA)

Why is this an absolutely? Serious question.

Wall is averaging two more assists than Irving while only one point off his scoring (20.2 and 8.5) versus Irving's 21.7 and 6.1. And I know only stats matter when it comes to these sorts of things, but the Cavaliers have been absolutely wretched this season, whereas the the Wizards are at least a game out of .500.

What is worse? NBA all-star game or pro bowl?

At the All-Star game has the dunk contest although that's watered down since the top guys don't compete together
