No, but he was worried that a lot of people that e-mailed to reserve would no-show and then that would be beer that could have been sent out through normal distribution.

Charge a $5 ticket and make the beer $1 less. Still worth it.

I'm guess I'm going to have to take up running. Everywhere I went today they told me a guy matching your description had just left. You should be nicer to your elders.
Seriously, I thought more was being released this year (straight from Andrew's mouth), yet it was much slimmer pickings than last year. Most places that were told they would have two cases only got one.

You've no idea. I was in there about 2:00 Saturday, never occurred to me that they would be selling it early (I know how adamant Andrew was about that). If only a certain co-worker that had that information had shared the tip, you wouldn't have had that one. I think he is still sore about me having his growler, when all I was doing was ensuring it's cleanliness.

Ha, you're welcome! I got 2 of the last 3 they had. I almost bought all three, but I told the owner I'd leave one for some lucky person. :P
It took some will power not to buy that third.

Same amount at retail, but lots more that he could sell at the brewery.
A lot more accounts to send it to this year, just around BR. Several places weren't open this time last year, so a lot of them got less.
Maybe Calandro's will have a lottery next year.

Mark told me after the bourbon battles that he was close to turning down all limited offerings because they got put through so much crap. Like someone said above, is GR destined to be like Pappy?
