Playing the ACC is a bowl game in boring...just can't get excited about it. Plus the venue is drab, the date (New Year's Eve) stinks...just a lot of meh

Because LSU has ended up in that bowl more than any other SECW team when we deserved a C1 or Outback bowl berth.

I love Atlanta. Great city if you know where to go (just like most big cities). I'm just tired of playing in that bowl.

It has nothing to do with the bowl game itself. LSU fans are tired of going to Atlanta. 2009 is the only time in the past 6 seasons we haven't played a game in the Georgia Dome.

Duke would be just a horrible match up. A team disappointed vs. one that treat it like it's the national championship. Then say we do beat the shite out of them, no one will care because it's Duke.

We're kind of tired of Atlanta for non-SECCG games. But I like the time slot on NYE. It's the only game on and I don't go out that night anymore.

Exactly. It was money when LSU rolled up da U and destroyed their program. It is more recently viewed as a symbol of underachievement when derpbo sweeney comes back from 12 down in the 4th and beats LSU on NYE.
