Pass Interference No-Calls

Was it my imagination & partisanship, or did TCU get the benefit of an inordinate number of pass-interference no-calls Saturday night?

Yes, and you need a new Pope picture...

The no-call on the block in the back was much more egregious.

That physical play from their corners will help us.

Landry scored a TD on one.

If it is against the rules to wrap your arm around a receivers waist then that alone was pass interference.

Both PIs in the end zone were obvious. Mett got robbed of 2 TDs.

Yeah they were letting them play otherwise we would have been flagged for a push-off on a catch. Don't recall who our WR was, but at least they intended to call it balanced. TCU just took advantage of it more I guess.

Refs definitely let them play last Sat. I do think they were fair about it however it did benefit TCU imo bc they were at such a physical disadvantage. If they would have called offensive holding, there would have been 3 calls on the OT blocking Allen on the 1st possession. They finally did call him on the INT but only bc he literally tackled him in order to prevent a sack.

On the first trip to the red zone there was an iffy one that could have gone either way.
The second trip to the red zone after the kick-off fumble recovery there was a blatant one that prevented a touchdown. That was really the only one I was upset about.

For the most part, I thought it was pretty evenly called. The refs were letting the DBs play with their hands. That shite happens every Sunday and the refs let us get away with it too. They simply let the DBs play.
The one case where I was like, "wow", was the Landry TD. Even though it worked out well for us, that was more than just hand checking. Landry was mugged on that play, but was still able to come up with the ball and turn up field.

I actually think the defender helped him score the TD bc he spun JL around and made it easier for him to get up the field

I was more upset with a blatant hold/tackle on I believe rasco on TCU's first drive. I need to watch the replay because espn never showed a replay.

Some bad TCU OL holding calls were let go. This was not balanced. Thee DB's I agree they let play.

The DB's had their opposite hand wrapped around the waist of the receivers.
That gets flagged all day long in the NFL.

Landry scored a TD on one.

I think they were just letting a lot go which favored TCU (bc we are a superior physical team). Our OL didn't rally need to hold but if they would have then I believe they would have let it go until unless it was egregious (Allen hold on INT). Our DBs (our prob our coaches) realized this quick and definitely became more physical with the TCU WRs

Hope no one was bothered by those calls. Slive and Steve Shaw offered them all jobs after the game. Better pay, and never have to leave the state of Alabama.
