Truth. The newer ones not so much. I'd still like to have one even though I'm a Benelli guy. But they definitely don't have the same sight plane or feel as the old ones

I wouldn't leave a M2 off your list. I actually hung up my SBEII in favor of an M2 once I held and shot one. It's pure poetry in motion to shoulder a M2. They're that smooth. Of course that's because it fits me like a glove

I shoot a SX3. Very nice gun, less expensive than most of the others u have listed. Mine is chambered for 3.5" shells & is mossy oak duck blind camo with 28" barrel. It has a good gas system & doesn't kick hard @ all.

As others have said, you really need to shoulder the guns & pick the one that fits you the best.

Another vote for the Super Vinci, I only have the Smaller chambered, older brother though, just plain Vinci. It kills ducks and geese just fine though. Also no problem shooting after being dropped in shoulder deep water with muddy bottom 2 years ago

SBE2

I also own autos in Browning, remington, and beretta.

SBE 2 shot about 3 cases last winter and only was cleaned twice because of water.

The Winchester SX3 is for all intents and purposes the exact same gun as the Browning Maxus. I haven't looked at it close enough but I don't think it has the shims to adjust the stock, I don't think it comes with as many choke tubes, and there may be one or two other cosmetic items but the guns are the same.

Mine came with 3 chokes: Full, Modified & Improved.
It also came with several different shims to adjust the stock. It also has rings to attach a sling.

Guns are like women. You have to try the fit to see if you like it.

Same old same old bro. We lost the lease in welsh but picked up another one down in Klondike. 2 blinds down there this year. Went down last weekend & saw a bunch of black mallards. 45 days until teal season!!!

I've always had an affection for that shotgun. It feels pretty good and looks damn good too. I think when I get in the semi auto game I'll grab one. I'm an 870 man as of now and it doubles up as my HD gun with a simple barrel swap, 26 to 18.

So do you swap the barrel every time you get home, or just wait for someone to break in?

I'm gonna throw this out there, idk about the new A5, but it's hard to beat the old Belgium made ones.

I was hunting last year in SD in a snow storm and when all the fancy berettas and benellis were freezing up, the 1970 A5 kept on shooting.

You can find them on gunbroker.com cheaper than a new high end shotgun.

Just my .02

Shooting skeet with friends about 6 months ago, every benelli sbe2, Beretta A391, and Browning maxus jammed on the low brass light loads. My 45 year old Rem 1100 - no probs. I just need to step up from the 870 and get a good duck gun.

All of those guns are nice and you'll find people will have strong opinions about each. Get the one that fits/points the best to you. If you can, shoot each one.

This

You need to go shoulder the guns to see which ones fit you better and narrow down the list...

And this.

With that being said: (I like the slim foregrip and it shoulders really well for me)

I don't take my shotgun skeet shooting everyday. The 18" barrel is on it about 85% of the time.

It depends on your drop, and your wallet. I'm cheap so I shoot a rem 1187. And when I shoot it, shite dies.
