Great group of members at Falcon Point. As a multiple time guest, the course is challenging and is in great shape throughout the year.
See you at The Gauntlet.

I saw a dumpster in the parking lot today today, which is the first sign of life ive noticed there.
I also heard that an oyster bar is opening in downtown Fairhope, featuring more local oysters. It'll be great to be able to get them in Fairhope.

My wife and I moved to Fairhope about 1.5 years ago from Lafayette. I concur the hell out of Camellia cafe, sunset pointe and Dragon Fly and Warehouse.
Bone and Barrel is great for bar food and is one of a few places open sundays in downtown. Ravenite Pizza has the best wings in town

I've leased from him the past 3 years. Don't have anything bad to say about Reggie but every year out there has been worse than the year before. this year we only killed during teal season (teal season is great there) and opening weekend of first split. After that, our blind MAYBE killed 20 ducks the entire rest of the season.
i know our blind will be open this upcoming season

My wife and I are both doing the loan repayment programs. I did mine with the feds, 3 yrs with the NHSC and she is doing hers through the state (Louisiana).
the federal program was a little easier to navigate than the state has been, although my wife has just 1 person that handles her "case" and i didnt really deal with any people. She's also doing the 10yr loan forgiveness and has 91 payments left.
By taking advantage of the Loan Repayment programs and the 10yr forgiveness, we're hoping to not have to use any of our earned income towards students loans. It took us about a year to figure out the rules of this game but i think we've got it now.

negative. we've been scratching about every other hunt. i killed 3 spoonies on sunday hunting alone.
I picked up all the decoys then. basically just trying anything to change our luck at this point

Weisertiger has our official stats, but the numbers are horrendous. We had a good opening weekend of the first split and has been very little shooting since then.
i went solo this morning and got 3 (all spoonies) best hunt since opening weekend.

went again today at lunch. had one bite and had a trout follow my fly in but no strikes.
A guy and his lady friend had 8 rainbows, all caught on a silver knock-off rooster tail. As soon as i tied on a silvery pistol pete fly is when i had the little action.

I went out there today at during lunch, didm't get a bite. I was fly fishing, but I'm guessing the pond hadn't been stocked yet. Only fish i saw was a dead carp floating. will try again tomorrow
Wanted to update on my experience with the Hevimetal recall. I can't say enough good things about Environmetal's customer service. Shipping back to them was very easy and of course free. I shipped back a case of Hevi-metal minus 2 boxes of shells and 1 box of Hevi-steel. They returned to me a FULL case (10 boxes) of Hevi-metal and 1 box of steel. So gave 2 free boxes for the trouble i guess.
This kind of service will keep me as a customer and wanted to give my recommendation for Hevi-metal. I'm not gonna say i kill the most in my blind, but i kill the most ducks in my blind

hobby lobby is cheapest I've found. 10 lb block in the candle area. looked online and didn't see it listed though. search for the weekly hobby lobby coupon thats 40% off any item and i want to say its $20 for the 10 pound block.
