But this being Louisiana, and Jeremy Hill being a football star, who knows?
Best part, easily. Lets not just attack Hill, Miles, or LSU. Frick that. It's the whole damn state that's the problem!

What a POS article! There's so much wrong with the article from the comparison of Miles to Meyer, the lack of knowledge of legal system, how Miles & LSU disciplines their players.
This kind of crap only adds fuel to rantards & SEC haters fire. The haters are always patiently waiting to jump of the bushes in situations like these.
If Hill had been charged & convicted of serious felonies(drugs & weapons)then I could understand the outcry to boot him from the team. In Hill's case, these are minor misdemeanors that warrant a second or in this case third chance. There's a huge difference between inmataure, childish behavior & the term "thuggish" behavior which gets thrown around plenty enough on this site. Hill's actions fall under inmataure, childish & not thuggish.
The judge in this case gave Hill one of the more stricter sentences allowable under the charge that Hill plead guilty to. Hill did not get off lightly despite what this hack writer or some rantards say.
Cutting the cord on Hill at this point in time isn't going benefit either side here. Any fan that believes by cutting Hill will be the end of this story is mistaken. It will be brought by announcers during every LSU game whether Hill is on the squad or not.
There's no doubt if Miles & the athletic department decide not to boot Hill, that he will be on a very short leash with very strict guidelines to follow. IMO, this is best course of actions for all parties. Hill gets another chance after another "minor" incident & Miles gets the chance get the chance to do what he does best which is being a guiding figure in his players lives.

This is a great indication of why Les Miles wasn't seriously considered for the Michigan job.

Just read his bio. The dude has some serious self confidence issues. No self-respecting journalist would play up his "amateur MMA" career like that.
What's more is that article would be tough to read for the most objective fan. It doesn't flow well, it's dropping with anger and bias. He even trys to make it seem like he's being an "investigative journalist".
The dude just isn't good.
Never heard of him and likely never will again. He'll be tossed into the ever crowded "sensationalist a-hole" bin.

Why is Hill a violent predator, with multiple convictions at age 20? Because something's wrong with him. Why is he still on the football team at LSU? Because something's wrong with LSU. Hill doesn't belong at Tiger Stadium being celebrated by 92,542 LSU fans, but if the courts in Louisiana won't lock him away, far be it from LSU coach Les Miles to keep him away. Miles earns $4.3 million a year to win football games, so he's not into doing the right thing. He's into doing the winning thing -- and Jeremy Hill helps him win. Hill is a great running back but a scary guy, viciously indiscriminant, guilty of preying sexually on a girl and preying violently on a young man.
I don't even ...
This is hackery at its finest. Can I get a job where I write poorly and just make stuff up?
