"My Story" NBA Legend Mahmoud Abdul Rauf. Great to know that our beloved tiger is doing well. He was one of the greatest LSU basketball players of all time!

Florida was no where close to the number #1 team in the country when he scored 53 against them. I don't even think they were ranked

The man lived the American dream and was paid millions of dollars per year to play a game, but yet hates America. He's nobody to me.

The Chris Jackson autobiography:
I was a stupid, unmotivated, surly dildo - but quite talented.
Brief. Pithy!

I find it disgusting that just because he went to lsu everyone is willing to overlook his anti American views. This man literally makes me sick.

Chris is welcome at my dinner table.
Mahmoud can live in a cold, dark cave in the Middle East! And all the liberals in this thread can join him!
Good day and GEAUX TIGERS!

Chris Jackson was the man in the day. That between the leg and then back thru again was a money move no one did it better.

He turned his back on America..that's all I need to know...

I can respect what he did on the court and I can resepect his religion. But I can't respect a person who refuses to stand when the national anthem is played.

I'm still a big fan of Chris Jackson. He was a great Tiger.
I grew up idolizing #35. There wasn't a kid on my block that didn't form his lips like an O right before the release point of a shot, a la Chris.
If you were a true LSU fan, you wouldn't worry about his religious beliefs and focus on the two great years he gave the Tigers. If you wouldn't hang out with him, that's fine, but why hate one of the best Tigers ever to don the purple and gold?

I am going to skip over the religious arguments. The first part of his story was interesting the lengths he went to in order to become the player he was. I guess that is why there aren't many people that size that make it that far. The pattern seems to repeat itself. Many people who have a lot of success at their chosen trade are borderline crazy/go to extreme levels.

Sounds like he doesn't understand that the world doesn't revolve around him, even in his life. He thinks people were trying to take him down, when in reality they were just making a buck off of his stupidity. Of coarse the league didn't want anything to do with him after he made those comments and "it didn't have anything to do with basketball".......its about making money dumb-arse. In all honesty, I think if he hadn't of been raised in such a non educational environment he probably wouldn't have turned out like that. He also probably wouldn't have been a basketball star either though.
