Great effort tonight. They came in second with a score of 197.875, second highest in school history. However, Oklahoma scored over 198! Wow.

Another link up for discussion. Do you believe the NBA black-balled Mahmoud Abdul Rauf? His NBA career was never the same after he refused to stand for the national anthem.

After Earth...

was a good movie to me. Forget the critics who proclaimed this to be Will Smith's worst movie yet. I totally disagree. It had a good story line and inspirational message concerning father and son. Many have said that Jaden was not ready for a leading role...Funny and so not true. Check it out if you haven't seen it yet. It is definitely worth watching! :nana:

Is he running track? Thought it strange that a guy with elite talent would skip running track for LSU. He ran a 46.07 400 meter time at the Junior Olympics...1st place.

Coin toss: LSU will win on tails. Opt to play defense.
1st quarter
Bama's 1st possession. 6 plays. No TD. They will try to throw the ball to test the CB's. No luck. Trent rushes for 6 yards on two carries.
LSU's 1st possession: Aggressive play-calling. 1st play a quick pass to RR for 7 yards.
2nd play: Ware for 2 yards.
LSU will begin to mix it up and drive to Bama's 23 yard line. JJ drops back and finds Peterson in the endzone for a TD.
LSU 7 Bama 0.
The rest of the quarter will be a slugfest. LSU and Bama will both score on field goals to make the score LSU 10 Bama 3.
2nd Quarter
LSU will have the ball to begin the quarter. The running game will begin to take momentum with Kenny Hilliard, Blue, and Ford taking over. LSU drive will stall at the 18 yard line. Alleman hits the field goal to make it LSU 13 Bama 3.
Bama will try to mix it up with Trent R. He will get his...but will fail to score a TD.
AJ will throw an interception during this quarter and LSU will score a TD after the turnover. Guess who picks it off? MC.
Hilliard will score on a short run up the middle for a 4 yard TD. LSU 20 Bama 3 at the half.
Halftime stats:

Bama will begin to show frustration while LSU's D continues to show why they are the "best" in the country!
Bama will score a TD on a short pass to the TE during the quarter. LSU will score again on a long field goal to close out the scoring in the 3rd quarter. LSU 30 Bama 10.

This is not rare... My heart goes out to the family of the three year old who fell to his death from the luxury box at Staple Center. Just horrible to think about.
Updated: Boy Falls To His Death at STAPLES Center
A security guard looks down to where Lucas Anthony Tang fell following the Los Angeles Lakers game at STAPLES Center Sunday night. (AP Photo/Mark J. Terrill)The Los Angeles Times is reporting the parents of two-year old Lucas Anthony Tang were taking photographs of him prior to his fall at STAPLES Center last night.
Tang, who plummeted 50 feet from the third level of the luxury suites, died as a result of his fall.
The Los Angeles Police Department told the Times that the family was reviewing pictures on their digital camera when they lost track of the boy who somehow crawled over the glass partition. The LAPD's abused-child unit is investigating the death as is protocol for these incidents and does not indicate any foul play or negligence.
Witnesses said that the boy, who would have turned three in January, was moving his arms and legs when paramedics took him out on a stretcher.
This incident comes three months after a 25-year old firefighter suffered a head injury and a severely sprained ankle after falling 30 feet from the second deck at The Ballpark in Arlington, Texas trying to catch a foul ball hit by Nelson Cruz during a Texas Rangers game.
STAPLES Center released a statement saying, "Our condolences and prayers go out to the Tang family. We are working with the Los Angeles Police Department on the investigation of this tragedy." STAPLES Center officials could not be reached for further comments.
