Tree removal services in Baton Rouge

Just purchased a house in the Goodwood neighborhood. Apparently, the former owner was a serious tree hugger and let the yard get pretty overgrown over the years.
I plan on leasing out the propery, for 6 months to a year while I sell my current house and design the new house. In the mean time I need suggestions on a reasonably priced tree service that can take down some of the larger trees (water oaks) that may put my rental at risk during the coming storm season.
Any suggestions of reasonably priced tree services in the area would be appreciated. TIA

Call and see if this guy is still in business. Biggz Tree Service, 205-0706, he was one of the cheaper tree guys around after Gustov and latter my dad had him remove a tree with no problems...

Saw Big GZ across the street last week removing a neighbors tree. They got a VERY economical price.

Bofinger's. I highly recommend George.

George is great and if tree is close to house I'd use him. He removed several trees from an old ladies yard after one fell on hers a couple weeks ago. He is high as the Astronaut nuts, but he uses a crane a good bit from what I've seen.

I've used GTS tree service. He licensened and insured. I didn't get a super deal to get one tree removed $1600ish. But my neighbor got a killer deal on 4 trees removed. 3400 ish. He cut my neighbor a deal because of his multiple trees. He is located near good wood so he can run over and give you a quote.
