That was an exaggeration, but he does drink good beer often. And dark beer isn't necessarily any worse than amber or lighter-color beers. When it comes to caloric content in beers, the alcohol content raises the most calories. Imperial stouts and imperial IPAs have comparable nutritional profiles, whereas budweiser and Guinness have comparable nutritional profiles.

I wouldn't go that far. But I normally drink at least one or two craft brews a night. Not always dark ones (although dark .. light, really doesn't play into caloric content.) // as hulk said
