I like UVA. If I hear Beamer ball one more time, it won't be pretty.

Oh also, for anyone that thinks VT adds to football. They have just ONE victory against a top 5 team in their history.

UVA has more attractive coeds and would give the SEC a true academic powerhouse

always better to bring in the state Flagship schools if possible...for so many reasons.

VA>>>>VAT

Blacksburg is a nothing town in the middle of an inbred county in the middle of nowhere Appalachia.

Bringing in VAT severely reduces the SEC prestige...all around.

They have played enough to lose almost 30 games against top 5 teams. Most in the Beamer era

UVA is closer for me to attend. Plus it would be fun to shake up their very dull wine and cheese tailgating scene.

Moreover, they represent a guaranteed victory for LSU football.

The SEC scheduling office would give them to Bama as a second permanent opponent.

Wahoowa baby!

A moot topic from a UVA perspective, not good enough at football. Also, UVA is a better academic fit for the Big 10, so if the ACC ever folds (although it looks like its shaken off the death throws for the time being) that would be the most logical spot for them to land.

Could see Tech happening if there was another round of expansion. Pretty decent football program (even though they fricking suck) and an entry into the DC market.

As a UVA alum and BR native, I would love to see LSU come to Cville for a game. The Hoos are playing host to Oregon next year and hosted USC a few years back, so maybe it will happen. Win/win for both teams, LSU gets a road win over a BCS conference team and UVA gets national exposure and a big time game.

Wahoowa and geaux tigers.

what has been "ruined"? last season was about as good as any other. basketball was low but, expansion had nothing to do with that. if anything, it helped. baseball season seems to be going just fine.
