So you were a UGA student cheering against your own school in your home stadium? Good God, I'd say you had it coming

He had being spit on coming to him?

Whoa, someone takes a GAME just a bit too seriously. Good lord.

Not to mention, if you've been a diehard fan of one college team your entire life, I don't think very many, if any, would up and switch allegiances just because they're attending a different school.

What a weird post lol.

My friend and I were at a high school football game and ended up between two rival gangs trying to start something.

We managed to get out but I have never gone back there again.

The people in this thread are confused.

Op said "fear for your life" not "a little scared of some rednecks talking trash"

Azteca is a degree of magnitude worse than anything in america

philly

few of my friend have been told they would get tossed over the wall out of the linc wearing the other teams jersey and got pushed around in the pisser.

Philly fans who leave and never come back are nothing like the dregs who stay.

Excluding death valley....

Why? Because Death Valley is so scary? College football is a cakewalk compared to soccer stadiums around the world, and football in the Bay Area.

Raiders and 49ers fans are thug POS.

Opposing fans routinely get beaten to a pulp at their games.

Yeah, I've never felt threatened in Tiger Stadium. Even in 08 when bama won in OT and I was sitting in a very small bama section in the upper deck.

Depends on the city. You can say the same for College depends on the town or location.

Been to football in the Bay Area

Been to EPL match @ Newcastle (regarded as among the most intense English soccer fans) and been to Parc De Prince with PSG.

None compared to a Saturday Night in Death Valley against a quality opponent.

They were all a lot nuttier than BDS though. Bama fans have all the vinegar and piss of a bottle of NyQuil.

13 years old, West Monroe vs St Aug at West Jeff. My dumbass Dad brought a Rebel flag. There was a drive by in the parking lot during the national anthem. Only time I've ever been scared at an athletic event.

Yes you drive around screaming cussing and throwing rocks and shite at people and their cars, and are from the Pittsburg area, folks will drag you out of your car and kick your arse. Even the supposed pregnant lady he was with that was 'knocked to the ground' said as much.

The only time I've ever been a little scared at a sporting event was when my high school played at Vigor in Prichard, AL. It was the second or third round of the playoffs and Vigor is one of those places that has to put barbed wire and broken glass on top of the wall surrounding the stadium.

Guess I have a warped view on the world. I view the people that spit on me as total pos's. Crazy me.

Don't understand what the big deal is. I've always cheered for LSU and HOPE allowed me to attend Georgia (a very good school) at minimal cost. If LSU was the same cost, I would've gone there. Considering I have a great job and no student loan debt, I think I made the right choice.

I'd say I made pretty good friends in Athens too considering none of them got as upset as you are right now when I told them I was an LSU fan over Georgia.
