Barry Sanders

Bo Jackson, Howie Long, Darrel Green, that guy played until he was in his 40's, still ran a 4.3.

When I was young, Bob Hayes. Dude may still be the fastest guy to ever play the game. He changed the way defense was played. Not the greatest hands, but his speed was just incredible....

Barry Sanders is the easiest choice. From this generation, Calvin Johnson and Adrian Peterson. Both are genetic anomalies.

Kellen Winslow, Sr. was ahead of his time. He put up huge numbers at TE in a period when there was much more running and the defense could make contact until the ball was in the air and hit you when you were 'defenseless'.

Peyton Manning (mind freak), Patrick Willis, Calvin Johnson.

Surprised no one has mentioned Bo Jackson.
Even more surprised there is no mention of Jim Brown. He was a man among boys when he played.
Earl Campbell needs to be added to this listing.

I was going to say Kearse also.
Remember an ESPN magazine spread on him. Biggest hands in the nfl. 12 inches from tip of thumb to tip of pinky when spread out. That's crazy!!
