I think it is more correct to say we don't like saban. But that doesn't mean we hate him...more like a dried up piece of gum on the sidewalk.

If you ever need something commissioned like a poem or a speech thing, let me know. I have 50+ words that don't exist (yet).

Oh are you a patent or IP guy? I need to make sure I get my royalties or whatever when I foist these words upon an unsuspecting populace and they pay me to stop using them.

Like "clamomulacrity" - it's not a word yet, and I can't write what it means without being removed from the internet. But I want to use it in a high profile way, and I want the money. Do you have a letter in your name upon which you can offer a guarantee, like the D Guarantee or the T Guarantee or something? Ok thanks

If people want to hate on Saban for coaching at a rival, so be it. THey wouldn't hate him if he coached Texas or OU. He is at a rival. He has a history with our program. Let people feel and say what they want. You don't like it? Tough.

Seriously are people still butthurt that he's the coach at Alabama. I look at this game as the two greatest teams in the country the last few years duking it out like championship heavyweights. It's a great thing. The whole Saban hate video and the loser fans that think this game is all about that need to get an education and learn something about mutual respect. This is Ali vs Frazier....the ol' Steelers vs Dallas....two great symbols of their sport going head to head. I love it! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!

Bama fans do not respect the LSU football program. I can promise you that.

Well, let me share something with you on this subject. Whenever a person is offered a job opportunity at a big business or major corporation, they are often required to sign a contract that includes an anti-competition clause. What this basically entails is that in the event that person is terminated or decides to move on, they cannot accept another job opportunity from a direct competitor for a period of no less than 5 yrs. This is to protect their previous employer from the revelation of trade secrets and sensitive information which could easily shift the competitive balance in favor of the defector's new employer. Saban was back at a division rival in 2 yrs using his knowledge of the LSU program to possibly create advantages at bama. They were a fledgling, highly sanctioned and ill-regarded program from 92-2008, while we had just won our 2nd chip in a 4 yr span. But once saban got there we were almost immediately playing catchup. That didn't happen by accident. The hate is most certainly justified, imo.

Don't get me wrong, the guy is a GREAT coach. We all know that. But there are built in advantages that he has as a result of his time at LSU. This is why LSU fans will always feel uncomfortable with the situation.

Everyone has their stance on Saban. Majority are in the middle. The rest hate, or bow down to the guy.

I absolutely respect the man for what he did for us as a football team and a university. I have a problem in the manner in which he left and returned to the conference. Whether it be leaving us on Christmas after multiple denials or returning to Tuscaloosa after leaving Miami in dissaray. One thing stands true, Saban is a perfectionist who gets the best out of his players. That's why he is successful. My problem doesn't stand with him going to Bama, its just their entire fanbase that I hate. I look at Bama as a more successful Ole Miss. It's a program that continually brings up its "hallowed" past and has a fanbase with a holier than thou attitude. I've hated the Gumps long before Saban came back, he just become a great underlying story in one of the greatest collegiate heavyweight fights.

Any LSU fan that doesn't hate someone pissing on them is an idiot. How some of you get pissed on by Saban and still like the man is beyond me. Very Sad!

Believe it or not there are coaches who would not coach a direct rival after coaching the other. It just shows his character to be everything LSU and then become everything Bama. As a fan you never lose your support for your school. Head football coaches are leaders of the largest fan following sport in college athletics. I don't see anything wrong with people being upset about him taking the job at Bama. If he had done the same with Bama and had taken the job at Auburn you would see a much more intense hate coming from Bama Fans toward Saban. Some coaches like to protect the time they served at a school. Saban said screw it by taking the money. Had Bama not offered him the blank check he would have stayed at Miami. Congrats to Bama on a great move!

It's not really that big of a deal now. Saban and other successful SEC Head Coaches have raised the SEC to the best college football conference. I think in time the Miles vs Saban games will be looked at as some of the best in all of college football. The personalities being so opposite bring the rivalry to a higher level of competitiveness.
