Says the legend that inspired the Freek hisself.
Whoa, whoa, whoa...that's crazy talk. I don't think Freek and I even belong in the same thread or on the same planet. The Orgeron Recursion was my one foray into that then-mysterious medium of GIFs, and the highlight (other than h...
UncleD7734
Your summary is accurate. We probably know each other. Of all things I didn't think I'd know about it would be FETI and FETA, but I do. And Chief Wallis is a good man. It was a difficult situation and he helped greatly in the transition....

re: Celebrating 20 years of the Tiger Rant (Winners announced on page 30) - LSUChicageaux
TigerDroppings' longevity and more importantly its cultural impact are the result of an exceptionally rare combination of vision for what a sports board should be: irreverent but relevant, wild but not loose, clever but not contrived, and built to support the single GIF response and the thoughtful m...

re: SELA weather from the POV of linemen here from other places restoring power - LSUChicageaux
Nearly a decade of Chicago winters made me welcome (well, not quite...but accept) Louisiana summers. Beyond stinging wind and misery, there's something about the lushness here I didn't appreciate it until everything was cold and gray. ...

Thanks for the nice words. Didn’t run out of creative steam, ran out of all the other kinds of steam. Shapes shift. There would indeed be plenty of material considering O was once a Confederate Hulk. And possibly a Senator Tuberville. Oh and a world-crippling respiratory pathogen likely sprung n...

Yep - I miss those 5:30am beers and grillades. We've moved spots and pushed back times a little with kids, but the cooking is the same...when we tailgate. And the fog is now in my head instead of on the grass....

re: Which poster here had a parent in the towers on 9/11?? - LSUChicageaux
Hadn't posted here in years, or on TD much anymore but felt compelled to throw a message here. I worked with the NYT in the days after 9/11; our company built the backend technology that would serve as the profile pages for every person's profile. We worked days on end building it and collecting ...
