Holy tittyballs

quote:

Under the terms of the agreement and based on the closing price of Disney stock on October 26, 2012, the transaction value is $4.05 billion, with Disney paying approximately half of the consideration in cash and issuing approximately 40 million shares at closing. The final consideration will be subject to customary post-closing balance sheet adjustments.

Pixar buying the property has potential. Would love to see Brad Bird take a swing at Star Wars

I have more faith in Disney than I do in Lucas at this point.. so I see this as a possible HUGE deal.

Never thought I'd live to see a 7th film.

Who would star?

This is the greatest thing to happen to Star Wars since The Empire Strikes Back. Lucas is no longer involved in the creative process. Some quality people (with actual input) will be working on this film.

I like the idea. Perhaps with someone other than Lucas writing, the story could be good and without cringe worthy dialog.

They are going to have to pump out a zillion of these to recoup 4 billion.

Disney, must be pretty confident, that they have Hamill, Ford and Fisher in the fold.

Well, let me get my Sniper Rifle out. Got to kill a few executives.

I mean seriously, couldn't they just remake the prequels instead? Like what the frick are they doing. I have never been more pissed off by film news like this in fricking years. God damnit.
